Astrid Richardson is an original and resourceful International Coaching Federation-trained life coach whose clients describe her as having a “grounding presence,” says she asks “powerful questions” and say that she provides an “enriching” coaching experience that far exceeds their expectations.
With nearly 20 years of experience in technical consulting, Astrid is able to employ the collaborative style of partnership she had with her customers in the corporate world to her work with life, career and mental health coaching clients. Among the many hats Astrid has worn over the years has been as a dietary consultant for Jenny Craig, where she helped clients with weight loss solutions. The ability of extending that work behind the initial stages is, in part, what inspired Astrid to begin coaching. She is a graduate of the International Coach Training Academy.
Astrid believes that coaching can provide clients with a safe and loving space where they can explore, seek clarity, find awareness and grow. Astrid is comfortable with working with all types of clients, regardless of where they are at and what they are struggling with at any given time.
Prior to becoming a coach, Astrid had almost 20 years of experience working as a consultant for environmental engineering firms. Astrid has a degree in chemical engineering, volunteers at the Maryland Correctional Institute for Women and helped design a S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology Engineering and Math) summer program for the City of Alexandria recreation department.
